To work with us, applicants must be 18 years or older, pass a background check through the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), and complete required training such as the PCA/ICS provider training and orientation. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required for all roles.
Do I need certification to apply for 245D services roles?
Some roles require specific certifications or training, while others provide on-the-job training. All staff must complete a DHS background study and orientation training. We provide support and training resources to help you meet requirements.
What kind of clients will I be working with?
You will work with individuals who receive home and community-based services, including people with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, or physical disabilities who need support to live independently in their communities.
